The horizontal retort furnace is designed for heat and thermo-chemical treatment of steel structural elements. Heat treatment processes take place in a sealed retort. The protective atmosphere forced circulation inside the retort is done by means of an atmosphere mixer and a steering system (internal cylinder).

These Pit furnaces are of circular construction with insulated cover which is hydraulically lifted/swivelled for charging or discharging the material into and from the furnace.

Retort Type Furnace is a pit type furnace with sturdy structural casing, thermal efficient with appropriate Retort, door assemblies.
